fear

What is the root cause of fear?

Questioner: Fear (bhaya), self preservation instinct (bhaya sangnya), what are these? How do they arise? How do they charge and discharge?

Dadashri: One experiences fear to whatever degree he believes himself to be temporary.

Questioner: I did not understand what you mean about one believing himself to be temporary.

Dadashri: 'I am Chandubhai*' is a temporary state and, when one believes he is 'Chandubhai*,' then he will be subject to fear. 'I am Shuddhatma - the pure Soul, nothing at all can happen to Me, I am eternal'; with this awareness, what is there to fear?

Questioner: Then there is no fear.

Dadashri: The experience of 'temporary' applies to non- Indians to a greater degree as compared to Indians. This is because of the belief of doership. 'I am the doer and these actions are of my own doing.' So here (in Indians) there is less fear. Non-Indians fly away like startled birds!

Related Spiritual Quotes by Param Pujya Dadashri:
1) What is the reason for fear? You consider yourself as temporary; Fear vanishes with the understanding - vision of 'I am the eternal Self'!
2) Soul is endowed with resultant bliss! One himself is Soul, no one else can take its happiness away from him. One is free of all pain and suffering by nature. He has tremendous (powerful) grandeur (splendor)! How can any misery affect him?
3) The root cause of all miseries of this worldly life is your own 'blunders' - Not knowing your Real Self (atma), and by believing that you are Chandubhai* you have made the one fundamental mistake upon which a series of mistakes continue to take place.

*Chandubhai = Whenever Dadashri uses the name 'Chandubhai' or the name of the person Dadashri is addressing, the reader should insert his or her name for exact understanding.

happy in life

How to Be Happy in Life ?

Questioner: How does one go about making his life simple and ideal?

Dadashri: Maintain an obliging nature. Give to others whatever you have. In this manner, your life will become ideal and harmonious (satvik). Have you ever done this? Do you like an obliging nature?

Questioner: I have, to a certain degree.

Dadashri: The more obliging in nature you are, the more you will benefit. Continue to be obliging and Help Others in any way that you can. You can help someone financially, run errands for people, give clothing to the needy, etc.

Lord Mahavir says, 'Use your mind, speech, body and soul (worldly self) for others. If then you experience any pain, let me know.'
Religion begins with an obliging nature. Happiness is found in giving to others. But instead people tend to take away from others. Do not do anything for yourself. When you do for others, you will not have to do anything for yourself.

become enlighten

Are you wondering what we should ask from #God when we visit any temple? There are different worshipping places for different Gods of various religions.

#PujyaDeepakbhai suggests that we should ask God to #bless us, such that we can realize our own #Soul. The Gods have realized and experienced their Soul. We should #pray that we should also experience the Soul the way they have done. Asking for any worldly thing will not help, because you have brought along your karmic account and things will happen accordingly.

But you can change your intent, make #Self-realization your intent and ask God to bless you with meeting a #GnaniPurush (the #Enlightened One) who can enlighten you as well.

As long as one is ruled by illusion, one’s thinking process
is also illusory and that is nothing but misery. In Gnanis’ [the enlightened one’s] language, there is no such thing as
happiness or unhappiness.

anger is weakness

Is anger a weakness or strength?

Questioner: Would it not be considered cowardly to remain silent when someone insults you?

Dadashri: Not at all, to bear an insult is a sign of great strength. If someone were to swear at me right now, I would not have a single negative thought towards him. That is strength. Quibbling and quarrelling is weakness. To bear an insult calmly is a great strength. If a person overcomes an insult just once, he will acquire the strength to do so hundred times over. Do you understand? If you are strong, your opponent will become weak. That is the natural trend. When a weak person harasses us and we do not do anything in response, it is considered a great strength.

In actuality the weak should be protected and the strong should be confronted. In this current time cycle, nobody behaves in this manner at all. Nowadays, people keep badgering the weak and run away from the strong. There are very few people that protect the weak and stand up against the strong. This whole world keeps hurting the weak. At home, the husband dominates the wife. If you beat a cow that is tied up, where will she go? And what if you were to untie the cow and then beat her? She would either run away or fight back.

A man who, despite being strong, does not harm his opponents, not even his enemy, is considered a powerful person. Is it not cowardly when you get angry with someone who gets angry with you? I am saying that these inner enemies of man, anger, pride, attachment, and greed are weaknesses. Why would a person who is strong need to get angry? People, however, try to control others with their anger. Those who do not use anger as a weapon have something else. That something else, is sheel (extraordinary moral character). Sheel in a person subdues even animals. Lions, tigers, and enemies will all surrender to such a person.

opinions and love

Differences In Opinions And Love

Do you have differences of #opinion with your #wife?

Questioner: How can a couple be called husband and wife without these differences?

Dadashri: Is that so? Is that the rule? Is it written somewhere that they cannot be called husband and wife if there are no differences of opinion between them? Are there not some differences in opinion?

Questioner: Yes.

Dadashri: Then does the husband-wife relationship not keep diminishing with increasing differences of opinions?

Questioner: #Love keeps on increasing.

Dadashri: As love increases, does the difference in opinion not decrease?

Questioner: As the differences in opinions increase, and as the quarreling increases, so does love.

Dadashri: Yes. It is not love but #infatuation and attraction that increases. This world has not seen love. Love is very different from infatuation and #attraction. You can see love as you are talking to me. Even if you were to get #angry with me, you would still see that love and realize what love incarnate is. Are you getting anything out of what I am saying?

Questioner: Yes absolutely.

lakshmi pujan

Many people do 'Lakshmi pujan' for more #money. But does that really bring more money? Honesty and a law-abiding nature will bring more money. Cheating and stealing money from others will do no good.

Pujya #Niruma in this video says, money may be important for people, but it is not the ultimate. Whatever wealth we have, should be used for good and noble causes. Money used for the benefit of others, multiplies and comes back to us. Money should be used in good causes, it should be used for #humanity.

What is charity? humans au r other creatures to love it. When you give joy to others, then you get happiness in return. ourselves despite what you feel happy because you have done something good.

who is bound ??

Pure-chit itself is the Absolute Supreme Soul (parmatma). To know "Who is bound: body or soul?"

Who Is Bound: Body Or Soul ?

Questioner: Now, is it the body or the soul that is bound?

Dadashri: The body itself is karma, so how can it have any other bondage? He, who feels that he is not free, is bound. Who suffers imprisonment, the prison or the prisoner? So this body is the prison, and the one within, is bound. The one who believes, "I am bound, I am this body, I am Chandubhai*," is the one who is bound.

Questioner: Do you mean to say that the soul binds (charges) and discharges karma through the body?

Dadashri: No, it is not like that. The soul is absolutely not involved in this. In fact the soul is free; it is independent. It is the ego, which has been created through false impositions that binds karma, and it is the ego that experiences the fruits of karma. You are the pure Self and yet you claim that you are Chandubhai. Claiming to something you are not, is called the ego. This is the false imposition of the ego. Egoism is to usurp someone else's space and call it your own. When this ego leaves, you can return to your own place, where there is no bondage.

Chandubhai* = Whenever Dadashri uses the name 'Chandubhai' or the name of the person Dadashri is addressing, the reader should insert his or her name for exact understanding.

Related Spiritual Quotes by Param Pujya Dadashri: 1) The mind, speech, and body are effective, so the effect that one experiences, he believes as 'this effect is mine'. This creates attachment-abhorrence and thus creates a karmic cause. But if one knows that the effect is 'not mine', then he will not have any attachment or abhorrence and consequently will not create karmic causes.
2) When one takes under his control, the mind-speech-body which are under the control of vyavasthit (scientific circumstantial evidences); that is called egoism.

sai baba

Wearing white but torn attire, Shree Sai Baba of Shirdi, as he was famously known, completely contradicted His appearance. He had an appearance of a fakir, but he, in fact, possessed the immense wealth of compassion and love. In the name Sai, 'Sa' stands for Shakshat (Living) and 'I' stands for Ishwar (God).

He was born on the stormy night of 27th September 1838, in the village of Pathri. As common folklore states, while passing through a forest, a childless Sufi, fakir Roshan Shah Miyah and his wife came across a deserted child (Sai Baba) and adopted him. They named him Babu. When the boy was 4 yrs old, Roshan, the Sufi fakir passed away; and his wife who had great affection for the child, was grief-stricken. She handed over the boy to a highly evolved soul, a pious scholar named Venkusa, who was living near her house.

Sai Baba became Venkusa's favorite disciple. Sai Baba stayed at Venkusa's ashram for twelve years and learnt many things. Since Venkusa considered Sai Baba to be a noble and divine soul, at the time of his death, Venkusa gave all his divine knowledge and powers (siddhis) to Sai Baba. After the death of his Guru, Sai Baba left the ashram and reached Shirdi.

When Sai Baba first entered the Khandoba temple in Shirdi, the priest of the temple, Mhalaspati, addressed him, 'Aao Sai'. That is how Sai Baba got his name. Thereafter, Sai Baba started living in Shirdi. Initially, he used to live in Khandoba temple, but he would often sing aloud verses of the Quran in the temple. This offended many Hindus and they asked Sai Baba to leave the temple. The followers of Sai Baba, including the priest Mhalaspati, took Sai Baba to an old mosque in Shirdi. Sai Baba named the mosque 'Dwarkamai' and spent the rest of his life there.
Sai Baba used to wake up at five in morning. Then, he would sit beside a smoke fireplace near the Dwarkamai mosque. Sai Baba ate food begged from alms; he begged for alms from five houses every day. Sai Baba divided the food he received into three parts: one for himself, second for his devotees and third for birds and animals. Thereafter, he would sit beside the fireplace and solve the problems of his devotees, give discourses which would then end with an evening prayer.

An outstanding aspect of Sai Baba is that he is beyond distinction of religion, caste or creed. Some believe him to be Hindu; others see him as a Muslim. A popular notion is that Sai Baba expressed himself as a Hindu to Hindus and as a Muslim to Muslims. However, in most cases Sai Baba acted vice versa, insisting that the Hindus should accept him as a fakir and the Muslims as a Brahmin!

Sai Baba shared the following message to the masses. Shraddha which means have faith in God; Saburi meaning have patience; Purity meaning have purity of heart and mind; Karuna Bhaav meaning have compassion towards all living things; Equality which means have impartial feelings for people of all religions and Aadhinta meaning to have followership and total surrender unto your Guru.

Whenever someone asked Gnani Purush Dadashri that, "If we are unhappy and suffering in misery, then what should we do? Who should we worship?" Then Dada used to say, "Worship Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi. Shri Sai Baba is working immensely towards helping people get rid of their miseries. He is such a great saint! Even now, he is bestowing worldly happiness. He has only one desire, and that is to relieve the suffering of the masses. What an absolutely pure and pious saint! A fakir without any attachments, he continues to be absorbed in the work of helping others."

On the day of Vijay Dashmi i.e. 15th October 1918, Sai Baba breathed His last, but His name is etched in the hearts of His devotees even today.

honesty in business

How to practice honesty in business?

This is why I tell you what is for your absolute good. Do not resort to deceit. Deal honestly. Be honest with your customers and tell them that in your business, your profit margin is fifteen percent. They can buy from you if they want to. What has the Lord said? If you are destined to receive three hundred dollars, you will get that amount whether you steal, use deceit or deal honestly. You will not receive a penny more or less. So then why are you being foolish and taking on the liability of stealing and deceit? Try to do your business honestly and legally for a few days and see what happens. At first you will experience some difficulty for about six months to a year but it will then run very smoothly. Even your clients will realize that your business is honest and unadulterated. They will come to you without you having to advertise. The vyavasthit that brings customers to your shop is vyavasthit but the foolish ones sit in their shops worrying and waiting for the customers to show. They spoil their dhyan and enter into adverse meditation.

If you decide that you want to conduct an honest business, then it will happen for you. The Lord has said that there is grave liability in adulterating food and gold.

The times are such that you have to live amidst deceitful people. But still your intent and awareness should always be on how to escape from all deceit. With this intent, you will be able to escape from the greatest liability. If such intent exists then with repentance you will encounter circumstances where you will not have to be deceitful and your business will run well. On the contrary people will commend your business.

If you want to attain liberation you must follow the words of a Gnani and if you do not want liberation then follow the times but in your mind you must feel that you do not want a deceitful business. You will then find such a business. Your business practices should be such that even when a child comes to you, his parents will not have any fear of their child being cheated.

Dhyan - Meditation; One's attention
Gnani - The Awakened One; Self-realized

scientific processs of self realization

Scientific Process of Self Realization

Open to understand the ultimate truth about yourself?

Are you truly who you believe yourself to be? Read on to find out the ultimate fact of life.
Realizing the True “I”

Will you not have to investigate who you really are? For how long can you go on being in the dark, unaware of your real Self? Do you not think it is ignorance to not investigate your true identity?

Until you realize who you really are, everything proves to be wrong and incorrect.

Even before you purchased your watch, did you not inquire about its make, quality, price, warranty, etc.? Then, is it not ironic that you have not made inquires about your own Self yet? Who are you? You have no knowledge about your true identity, where you come from, and where you are. You know none of these things and even without knowing the answer to this one vital question, “Who am I?” you complicate your life further, by actively participating in this relative world.

Even when you fall asleep at night, you do so as David (note: please replace this name with your own name). All night long this wrong belief reinforces itself, becoming stronger and stronger. Only when you realize the answer to the question “Who am I?” does your wrong belief stop. It is because of this wrong belief that you have been wandering from one life to another. You do not know your true identity and furthermore you impress upon yourself the belief of that which you are not. You have imposed this wrong belief on your Real Self. In addition, you have also accepted the notion, “I am David,” and as a result, have behaved accordingly. This false accusation is a blunder. This blunder is the root cause of all suffering. This suffering comes in the form of inner restlessness, misery and discontentment. At the moment, you have so many worries caused by your false belief of, “I am David”. This false imposition on the Self is ignorance, and brings forth suffering.

The Gnanis (Enlightened One) have the knowledge to replace this blunder with the fundamental right belief that ends all suffering…
Realize your true Self and experience your Soul through the scientific process of Self-Realization (Gnan Vidhi)

Gnan Vidhi is a scientific process to attain Self-Realization. It is a divine gift from Gnani Purush (Enlightened One) Param Pujya Dadashri (Shri Ambalal M. Patel, also fondly known as "Dada Bhagwan").

Self realization is the awakening of your Soul or true 'Self.’ If we ask you, what is your name? You will answer “David.” You do not have to remember that your name is 'David,' and if someone says anything bad or wrong about David, then you may experience suffering, wondering 'why is this person abusing me?’ This happens as you have a strong belief that 'I am David.'

When you attain Self realization, your belief that 'I am David' is broken with the Divine grace of the Gnani Purush Dada Bhagwan and the right belief that 'I am Pure Soul' is established within 2 hours. This scientific process to achieve Self-realization is called Gnan Vidhi. Nothing gets changed externally, just the internal awareness that David is separate and 'I am a Pure Soul' starts from within.
Who can acquire Gnan Vidhi (Self Realization)?

Anyone above 18 years of age is welcome to undertake Gnan Vidhi. There is no need to change your present guru or religion. A Gnani Purush is needed for Self-realization and to guide you on a path to ultimate liberation. The teachings of the Gnani Purush are relevant to followers of all religions.
Is there a fee to receive Gnan Vidhi?

The Gnan Vidhi is a priceless gift given freely to all. There is no charge of any kind.

dada bhagwan

The founder of the Trimandir is our beloved Gnani Purush Dada Bhagwan(November 8, 1908 – January 2, 1988), who was born as Ambalal Muljibhai(A.M.) Patel, affectionately known asParam Pujya Dadashri.

Born to a spiritually elevated mother in the village of Tarsali located in the Indian state of Gujarat, Param Pujya Dadashri was instilled with a profound understanding of nonviolence, empathy, generosity, and the benefit of spiritual penance, right from birth.

From an early age, Param Pujya Dadashri exhibited unique spiritual characteristics and, as He grew older, He maintained a devoted priority of spiritual purpose.

Even as He entered into married life, and later into a lifelong business partnership, He experienced no interest or satisfaction in worldly matters.

He remained one-pointedly focused on His search for eternal truth and Self Realization.

Manifestation of Gnan

In 1958, spontaneous Enlightenment (absolute manifestation of Self-knowledge) occurred suddenly withinParam Pujya Dadashri.

While waiting for a commuter train in Surat, Gujarat, a one-hour experience of universal Self-knowledge happened to Him.

In the course of this awakening, Param Pujya Dadashri attained ultimate answers to lifelong spiritual questions such as:
Who am I?

Who is “The Doer” of all that happens in the universe?

Is there a Creator God and, if so, where is He?

What is the science of Karma?

Param Pujya Dadashri later explained that this awakening was the culmination of His sincere spiritual effort from numerous previous lives.

A.M. Patel, Gnani Purush and Dada Bhagwan

Param Pujya Dadashri explained that, as a result of His awakening, three distinct facets of the Self became clarified within.

At the gross level, A.M. Patel’s relative self (body-mind complex) remained.

At a subtler level was Gnani Purush (see Param Pujya Dadashri’s definition below).

Finally, at the subtlest level was what His followers referred to as “Dada Bhagwan,” an absolute divine embodiment.

Param Pujya Dadashri describes these three facets of the Self in the following interview:

For whom is “Dada Bhagwan” used?
Param Pujya Dadashri: It is used for Dada Bhagwan, not for Me. I am a Gnani Purush. Dada Bhagwan is within you too, but is not yet manifested, and here within Me, He is fully manifested and is ready to give results…

What is the real nature of Dada Bhagwan?
Param Pujya Dadashri: He is the One who has no attachment, ego, and intellect…

Why do you allow yourself to be addressed as Bhagwan (Godly divine embodiment)?
Param Pujya Dadashri: I, Myself, am not God. I too bow to Dada Bhagwan within Me. I (as Gnani Purush) am at the level of 356 degrees of spiritual achievement, whereas Dada Bhagwan is at 360 degrees. He is the Absolute. I lack four degrees, and therefore, I too bow down to Dada Bhagwan (within Me).

Post-Awakening

After Param Pujya Dadashri’s awakening, those close to Him observed an extraordinary presence within Him.

His nephew, who addressed Him as “Dada” (the traditional Gujarati term for “Revered Grandfather”) repeatedly proclaimed, “He has become a Bhagwan (divine embodiment)!”

Gradually these two terms of reverence were combined, and people began to address Him as “Dada Bhagwan” (grandfatherly divine embodiment).

From His awakening, Param Pujya Dadashri attained siddhis (supernatural abilities) to raise seekers to the level of His Own spiritual state. However, for four years, Param Pujya Dadashri remained silent about this, resting in the stillness of an ego-less inner state.

Finally, after repeated requests by those close to Him, He began to conduct satsangs (spiritual discourses) and Gnan Vidhi (ceremony of Self-knowledge).

Param Pujya Dadashri’s satsangs were impromptu – offered in any location, at any time of the day or night. Conducted primarily in a question-answer format, Param Pujya Dadashri’s satsang transcripts have been compiled into numerous topic-based books.

In the Gnan Vidhi ceremony, which Param Pujya Dadashri defined as an “experiment to separate the Self from the non-self,” He was consistently able to awaken His own spiritual state within seekers in merely two hours.

Until His samadhi maran (passing with spiritual awareness) in 1988, Param Pujya Dadashri traveled within India and abroad to conduct satsangs and Gnan Vidhi ceremonies.

Proclaiming that, “There must be no business in spirituality,” He traveled entirely at His own expense. To this day, no fee has ever been charged for Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan satsangs or Gnan Vidhi ceremonies worldwide.

To date, hundreds of thousands of seekers worldwide have attended Gnan Vidhi, and are experiencing Atma Gnan (Self Realization) through Param Pujya Dadashri’s grace.

Param Pujya Dadashri predicted that Akram Vignan would remain accessible through His successors for thousands of years. Before passing, He blessed Pujya Niruma and Pujya Deepakbhai with siddhis required to conduct Gnan Vidhi ceremonies.

Since then, both of them have continued Param Pujya Dadashri’s mission to awaken sincere seekers towards Self Realization and moksha (Liberation of the Soul from the cycle of birth and death).

resolve conflict

How conflicts can be resolved?

Dadashri : The one who learns the art of adjusting is the one who has turned towards the path of liberation. To have made an adjustment is Gnan. The one who has learnt to adjust is considered having won. Whatever you have to suffer, you have no choice but suffer. There is no problem for the one who knows how to adjust and his karmic account will be cleared. Everyone can adjust with people who are easy to get along with, but if you are able to adjust with those who are awkward, difficult, and stubborn, then you have accomplished your work. Adjustment is the main thing. To say yes to everything, is liberation. Even if you give in, nothing is going to happen outside the realms of vyavasthit. But, if you say no, or you oppose, then you will have problems.

If both the husband and wife make a decision jointly that they want to adjust with each other, then it is possible for both to achieve their goals. Or, if one of you pulls more, the other should give in more; even then you can resolve matters. A man has pain in his arm but he tells no one, instead he uses his good arm to massage the other one. In this way, if you are able to adjust, you will accomplish your work. Nothing will be achieved through conflicts. Even though you do not like conflicts, you still have them do you not? If the other partner is being adamant and keeps pulling, you should just let go and go to sleep. But, if you both keep pulling, neither of you will be able to sleep and your whole night will be ruined. You take so much care in your worldly transactions, your partnership, your business, and all related matters, so can you not exercise the same level of caution in matters of your lifetime partnership with your spouse? The worldly life is nothing but a factory and a museum of conflicts. Some household will have a few, some will have more and some will have a lot.

People do not know how to adjust in their homes but they sit down to read scriptures about the soul! You foolish people! Let go of this nonsense! First, learn to do this! You do not even know how to adjust at home. Such is the world! So, you must get your work done.

Related Spiritual Quotes by Param Pujya Dadashri : 1) The person who knows how to adjust to others, he will not have any suffering. "Adjust everywhere".
2) If one is put into trouble at some place and he makes his "adjustment" then also this worldly life will look beautiful.

Glossary : Gnan : Dadashri uses the word Gnan for three types of knowledge: Gnan is the knowledge of the Self (spiritual knowledge). The second Gnan is the knowledge of cause and effects, life after life, and the third Gnan is the worldly knowledge of human beings.

"The benefits of Amba Mataji’s worship are astronomical not only for those who live a worldly life but also for those who desire to attain moksha (liberation from the cycle of birth and death). His spiritual discourses are in the form of question and answer sessions and for the past eight years they have been regularly broadcast on various Indian TV channels throughout the world.

soul is free from attachment

The Soul is neither a Jain nor a Vaishnav. The Soul is Vitarag (free from attachment). This is the religion of the Vitarag (the enlightened ones).

Vitrag Lord Shree Simandhar Swami

On this planet and in this era, there is no living Tirthankar, but at present, in Mahavideh Kshetra there lives Tirthankar Shree Simandhar Swami. Simahdhar Swami is able to grant final liberation to seekers from the planet Earth. The Gnanis have revived this path and are sending the seekers to the same path.

Recognizing the living Tirthankar (Living God), awakening one's devotion for Him, establishing a connection with Him through His worship day and night, and finally attaining his live, direct darshan and acquiring Keval Gnan (absolute enlightenment), verily is the only step of the narrow path of liberation. This is what the Gnanis (spiritual masters) say.

Dadashri always used to say that when Simandhar Swami's images take residence in every home, and when these images are worshipped with deep reverence, when his aartis are sung in every home, when his temples are constructed all over, there will be heaven on Earth.

be happy at home

How to keep peace at home?

Questioner: The important thing is that there should be peace at home.

Dadashri: But how can peace prevail? For peace, you have to understand dharma (religion, one's duties, moral code of conduct). You should tell everyone at home, "We are not each other's enemies; nobody has any quarrels with anyone. There is no need to have differences of opinion. Let us share with each other what we have and let us be happy." That is how you should think and do everything. You should never quarrel with people at home. How can you quarrel with people you have to share the same home with? Nobody has ever been happy by making others miserable and we want to be happy by giving happiness. We can only be happy if we make others happy at home. You will be served a good cup of tea with a smile, if you avoid conflicts with this understanding. Otherwise, they will ruin your tea before they serve it to you.

Look how many worries and inner differences there are! A person continues to harbour differences of opinion, yet he thinks he practices religion. Ask him if the quarrelling has ceased in his home. Has it even decreased? Have his worries become less? Does he have at least some peace? To that he will say, "No, but at least I practice religion." You fool! What religion do you have? Being religious means, you are at peace within and regardless of your situation in life you do not have any stress, whether it be internal or external. To revert to your Real nature (the Soul), is the final definition of religion.

If your wife drops a stack of china dishes and glassware, would you be affected by it?

If you are affected or you feel hurt, you cannot refrain from saying something; you cannot prevent turning on your 'radio'. The moment you get hurt, your radio will come on, which in turn will hurt her. Then she will point out, "You act as if you never break anything." It is important to understand that glassware can easily slip and break. If you were to tell her to break the dishes, would she do so? Who or what breaks them? There is no person in this world with an independent strength or power to break even a single dish. All these events that take place are accounts that are being settled, and therefore all you have to do is ask her whether or not she was hurt.

If you both fight over a couch, then throw that couch away. That couch is worth only a few hundred dollars. Is it worth fighting over? It will only sow seeds of hatred. Just get rid of it. Anything that causes conflicts in the home should be thrown away.

The more you understand, the greater your faith. With faith you will acquire results. Without faith, nothing will help you. If you do things with understanding, your life will be happy and it will make her life happy too. Does your wife not cook you wonderful meals?

Related Spiritual Quotes by Param Pujya Dadashri: 1) Where there is no peace; there is not the slightest religion there.
2) One is not to win the world, he has to win the home (family).
3) One time quarrel is tantamount to incurring a loss of five thousand rupees.
4) Difference of opinion is a clash, and to clash is a 'weakness'.

no mercy killing

EUTHANASIA: MERCY KILLING

Questioner: When a person is #suffering from a chronic illness for which there is no cure, it does not seem right to prolong their suffering. What is wrong with helping them end their suffering? In this respect it is hard to believe that if we help him by #mercykilling, that his suffering will continue in the next #life.

Dadashri: No one has a right to do that, whatsoever. We have a right to treat them and take care of them, but not to kill them.

Questioner: Where is the benefit for us in prolonging their suffering?

Dadashri: What is the benefit in killing, then? When you kill a suffering man, you will lose your birthright to be born as a human again. It goes against the principles of humanity.

tension

What is tension?

Questioner: What is tension? I understand what worry is, now please explain tension?

Dadashri: Tension is similar but not quite the same as worry. The pull in tension is many sided where as in worry you are totally involved in one issue thinking that to be everything. Example of tension: 'what will happen if this job does not work out? Here my wife is sick, what will happen to her? The children are not going to school properly, what will happen to them?' Tension is all these kind of pulls.I have not had tension for the last twenty-seven years, since my spontaneous Self realization.

Now there is a lot of difference between being careful and worrying. Carefulness is awareness and worry is to have anxieties, which eat you up from within.

vision on religion

 #Aptsutra  of the Day :

That which reduces our flawed vision is called religion
[dharma]. It is non-religion [adharma] that increases a
flawed vision. The worldly life is indeed the result of a
flawed vision.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

friends

Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan used to say that, “What should friends be like? The kind who live amicably (having a spirit of friendliness).” For example, if one friend is doing his lessons then the other will finish that friend’s chores. If one person is doing a chore, then the other will do the next chore. No-one would have to direct a person, they live in harmony.

Pujya Niruma also used to say that, “If [you] want the friendship to last then friends have to mutually take adjustments. Friendship lasts only if both friends let go of certain things that they dislike about each other. But if we insist that our friend should only do things the way we like, then gradually the friendship will break.”

So if we do not want our friendship to break we should become the kind of friend that we would like to have.

anger

Do You Know That #anger is a #live fire? The person himself will not realize that he has destroyed everything, because the damage is not visible on the outside, but everything from within is destroyed.

don't look for justice....

How to resolve inheritance and will dispute ?

Upon the death of their father, four sons have a dispute over the inheritance of some land. The property at first lands in the hands of the eldest son, who refuses to share it with his brothers. The land was to be divided equally between the four of them with each receiving fifty acres. Instead, one received twenty-five acres, one took fifty acres, one took forty acres and one received only five.

How is one to understand this? The worldly justice will proclaim the eldest brother a shameless rogue and a cheat. But nature's justice says that what has happened is correct. Each of them received exactly the amount they were destined to. The difference between what they actually received and what they were meant to receive according to their father's instructions, has paid off their pending accounts from their past life.

If you do not want to cause a dispute, you must act according to the way of nature, otherwise you will find that the whole world is one big conflict. Do not look for justice.Justice is what happens. Justice is only there so that you can see whether any deep inner change has occurred within you.If I encounter justice in the world, then one thing is decided, that I am just. Justice is my thermometer. Man becomes perfect and absolute when he becomes one with justice, and he sees everything as just. Until then he is either above or below normality.

Referring to the previous example, people will tend to side with and seek justice for the son who received only five acres of land, while discrediting the eldest brother. This is wrong and represents a fault. People live this worldly life in an illusion. This illusion distorts their perception of real nature of things. They believe that the worldly life is real. When one believes this worldly life to be real, he suffers. Nature's justice is flawless.

I would not interfere in such situations. I would not tell anyone what he or she should or should not do. Otherwise I would not be called Vitaraag (without attachment). I simply observe what and how previous accounts are unfolding.

When people ask me to dispense justice, I tell them that my justice is different from the justice of the world. My justice is nature's justice. This justice is the 'regulator' of the world, and it keeps the world in regulation. In nature's justice, there is no injustice, even for a moment. Why do people perceive injustice and look for their own justice? It is because they do not know that whatever they encounter is justice only.Think, dear man, why he did not give you just two acres instead of the five acres? What he has given you is just. All that we come across is our own account from our past life.Justice is the thermometer. From this thermometer we can see that it is because we were unjust in our past life, that we encounter injustice in this life. So the thermometer itself is not to beblamed. Is this helpful to you?

Related Spiritual Quotes by Param Pujya Dadashri:
1) Not for even a moment does nature prevail outside of justice. If it were to ever prevail outside of justice, then nature cannot be called as nature.
2) The world is just. Its justice (of one's deeds) is provided by scientific circumstantial evidences (vyavasthit shakti).

there is no like or dislike in this world

deep history

Past soil is such that more effort you give for extration, the more you will be trapped by the soil.

karma (doing things)

What Is Karma ?

Questioner: What is the definition of 'karma'?

Dadashri: Supporting any action, with the claim, "I am doing it," is karma. Claiming doership of any action, binds karma. To support the action with the belief 'I am the doer' is called binding the karma. It is this support of the belief of 'doership' that binds karma. If you know that you are not the doer and are aware of who the true doer is, 'I am not the doer' and 'who is the doer' then the action will not have any support and the karma will be shed.

Questioner:What is the principle of karma?

Dadashri: If you yell, "You are a thief!" into a well, what happens?

Questioner: You will hear the word's echo.

Dadashri: Exactly! If you don't like to hear what comes to you, then you should say, "You are a king!" instead, so that you will hear, "You are a king." Say that, which you would like to hear. Give what you would want to receive. That is the principle of karma. Karma means action. What is reaction? That is the echo. All reactions are like 'echoes' of your previous actions; the fruits will be inevitable. What does the well illustrate here? It tells you that the world is your own projection. What you were referring to as karma, is really a projection.

Questioner: Is there a principal of karma or not?

Dadashri: The whole world is nothing but the principle of karma. The existence of bondage lies entirely on you, you are responsible for it. Everything is your own projection. You are responsible even for the formation of your body. Everything you encounter is your own design; nobody else is responsible for it. For endless lives, you have been responsible, "wholly and solely."

Related Spiritual Quotes by Param Pujya Dadashri:
1) What is the main cause of karma? What binds karma? Karma is bound because of presence of doership. As long as there is a belief that 'I am Chandubhai', one will bind karma. 'I am Chandubhai' is aropit bhaav (deluded view; False attribution of the belief 'I am Chandubhai', on the Self), and thus it becomes a doership.
2) As long as you are the doer, you will bind karma. Karma is based on doership. When Gnani Purush (the enlightened one) removes this base (of doership), charging of karma stops. Then only discharge of karmas remains.

crying ??

WHO ARE THEY CRYING FOR?
Questioner: Despite having the knowledge of reincarnation, why do people cry when someone in the family passes away?

Dadashri: They cry for their own selfish reasons. The closest relatives cry genuinely, but the rest cry because they remember their own dead relatives. That is a wonder in itself! These people bring the past into the present. These Indian people are amazing! They know how to bring the past into the present.

By such intense grieving one will create karma that lead too much wandering in future lives.
