 #Aptsutra  of the Day :

There are two types of worldly life: renouncing [tyaag] is a
worldly life and family life [gruhasti] is also a worldly life.
Those who renounce are constantly in the knowledge of
‘I am renouncing…I am renouncing’. And the family man
prevails in the knowledge of ‘I am acquiring…I am taking…
I am giving’. But the one, who attains knowledge of the
self [soul], will attain liberation (moksha). Where does
one acquire Knowledge of the Self? From the ‘Gnani
Purush’ [the Enlightened One].     (Aptasutra # 1636)

સંસાર બે પ્રકારનો છે : ત્યાગી એય સંસાર છે, ગૃહસ્થી એય સંસાર
છે. ત્યાગીને 'ત્યાગ કરું છું, ત્યાગ કરું છું' એમ જ્ઞાન વર્તે. ગૃહસ્થીને
'ગ્રહણ કરું, લઉં, દઉં' એમ જ્ઞાન વર્તે. પણ જો આત્મા જાણ્યો તો
મોક્ષ થઈ જશે. આત્મા જાણવાનો ક્યાં હોય ? 'જ્ઞાની પુરુષ' પાસે.
(Aptasutra # 1636)

संसार दो तरह के हैं : त्यागी भी संसार हैं और गृहस्थ, वह भी संसार
है। त्यागी को ‘त्याग कर रहा हूँ, त्याग कर रहा हूँ’ ऐसा ज्ञान बर्तता है।
गृहस्थ को ‘ग्रहण करूँ, ले लूँ, दे दूँ’ ऐसा ज्ञान बर्तता है। लेकिन यदि
आत्मा जान लिया तो मोक्ष हो जाएगा। आत्मा कहाँ से जाना जा
सकता है? ‘ज्ञानीपुरुष’ से।             (Aptasutra # 1636)
